This is a residential house from 1943. The building is composed by two independent apartments placed one over the other.
The design intervention has 2 stages, the first one corresponds to the renovation of the inside facilities of the building. The strategy is to make flexible all the public spaces of the housing and contribute with natural lighting on the second level.
The second stage consists of adding a third level to the building, with the purpose of building an exterior área for the second floor with views and public spaces to the immediate surroundings.
Corresponde a un inmueble residencial del año 1943, de autor aún desconocido. El edificio se compone por dos viviendas departamentos ubicadas una sobre la otra. La intervención posee dos etapas, la primera fase corresponde a la renovación de los recintos interiores del edificio. La estrategia es flexibilizar los espacios de carácter más públicos de las viviendas y dotar con luz natural todos los recintos de la vivienda ubicada en el segundo nivel. La segunda etapa consiste en sumar un nivel a la edificación con el propósito de construir vistas y espacio público hacia el entorno inmediato.
