This house is located in the Andes mountain range, San Esteban, V region, Chile. It is a wooden house that floats over the property´s mountain gradient. It consists of an elevated unit that intercedes the land and is supported by different points that show the structural composition of the house. The objective is to recognize all the structural elements of the building and at the same time highlight the existing topography.
The view contemplates the San Francisco valley, with sights to the mountains and the valley.
Vivienda ubicada en la cordillera de los Andes, comuna de San Esteban, V región. Es una casa de madera que flota sobre la pendiente del predio debido a las montañas. Consiste en la intervención del terreno mediante un módulo elevado y apoyado sobre la pendiente mediante puntos que dejan entrever la composición estructural de la vivienda. El objetivo es no restar a la topografía existente y reconocer todos los elementos estructurales que componen esta casa.
La vista contempla el valle de San Francisco, a sus montañas y el valle en sí.
